WALLPAPERING

Whether it’s a whole room or a feature wall, all types of wallpapering undertaken.  Decorative wallpapers are available in many styles and designs which will give a room a unique character.  I often work with wallpapers from Farrow and Ball, Fired Earth and Laura Ashley.

Prior to hanging the paper walls are filled and rubbed down, sized or primed depending on the condition of the walls.  They can also be crossed lined which I find makes the paper last longer and also gives a more luxurious finish.

I can also apply paint effects to the walls to resemble some wallpapers.  This can be achieved by using stencils and painting lines.  This is useful if you want something different, or if your walls aren’t very even and therefore not so good for wallpapering.
